ABOUT ME
Making a Difference
American Sign Language came into my life when I was 12 years old. I was excited to be able to communicate with my Deaf peers and that lead me on the journey I'm on today. I've studied ASL up to an interpreting level, and I'm eager to share my knowledge with my students.

Outside of school, my family keeps me busy. My husband and I have been married for 13 years and we have a son and daughter. We have the cutest dog named Jagger and a curious kitty named Jazmine.

I'm so excited to grow and learn with you all. Please feel free to reach out at any time!

MY SCHOOL HISTORY
In 2006, graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Theater.

Next, I studied at Austin Community College with a focus on the Interpreting Training Program in 2011.

I most recently completed my Teaching Certificate with a focus on ASL. This will be my fifth year teaching at Round Rock High School.

I am also thrilled to announce we have a student teacher joining us! Erica Juenke is finishing up her degree with Lamar University and will work with us during our first semester. What a treat for us all!
